New to functional medicine? Start here.
If you are not sure how this works or where to begin, this page is the short version: how care works, whether it is a fit for you, what it costs, and the one small first step. No jargon, no pressure.
How it works.
Four steps, from the first call to ongoing support.
-
Start with a free consultation
A short call, ten to fifteen minutes, by phone or video. No cost and no commitment. We listen to what is going on and give you a straight answer about fit.
-
Your first visit
For functional medicine, that is a 75-minute evaluation with Catherine Seidle, APRN: your full history, your goals, and comprehensive labs read against functional ranges, not just standard ones. Other services have their own first visit, explained on each page.
-
A plan built around the cause
You leave with a clear picture of what we are looking at and why, and a plan that fits your life. You always know what each step is for.
-
Support that stays with you
You work with the same provider every visit, so nothing gets lost between appointments, and we adjust as your labs and how you feel change over time.
Want the visit-by-visit version, including what you leave each appointment with? See your first ninety days.
Is functional medicine right for you?
A good fit when
- Chronic, multi-system issues: fatigue, thyroid and hormones, gut, metabolic and weight concerns
- Symptoms that keep getting normal labs, or answers that never quite fit
- Prevention and longevity: restoring function now and lowering your future risk, not only treating what is already wrong
- Wanting more time, broader testing, and a plan built around the cause
- Autoimmune or complex conditions, supported alongside your specialist
Start elsewhere for
- An emergency or anything urgent: call 911 or go to the nearest ER
- Acute illness and injuries, vaccines, and everyday primary care: your PCP stays your medical home
- We work alongside your PCP and specialists, never in place of them
What it costs.
- Cash-pay and transparent: prices are posted before you ever walk in
- HSA and FSA eligible; financing available through Affirm
- We do not bill insurance. We provide an itemized receipt on request, without diagnosis codes
- The consultation is always free, and it is the right place to start
