Whether you have a major health issue or just want a practitioner that truly cares and takes the time to know you mentally, physically, and spiritually, I highly recommend Catherine. She helps you to understand the why behind the cause.
Root-Cause Functional Medicine
Real answers, from the root cause.
Healing Advanced Solutions is a functional medicine practice in Jacksonville, FL, led by Catherine Seidle, APRN, whose career began in the ICU. Our approach is integrative medicine at the root cause: we look for why a symptom is there, then build the plan around your biology.
New to the practice? Start here, or take the 1-minute self-assessment.
Your labs are “normal,” but you don't feel normal.
Standard lab ranges are built from population averages, so a result can be called normal while you still feel off. We read your results against optimal ranges, the values linked with feeling well, and look for the cause instead of just managing the symptoms.
We take the time to understand your symptoms, your history, and your labs as a whole. Then we work through each piece, step by step, to build a plan around you.
Tailored around you, from the first conversation.
However you come to us, the path is the same. We understand what is going on, then build a plan that fits you.
Start with a consultation
In person or over the phone. We help you choose the right service if you are not sure, walk you through what to expect, and answer your questions before you commit to anything.
Testing that means something
We run the panels that matter for you, things like thyroid, hormones, and metabolic markers, and read them against optimal ranges, not just what counts as average.
A plan made for you
Depending on what we find, that may mean functional medicine, hormone optimization, weight loss, peptides, PRP, or IV and vitamin support. You will always know what each step is for.
Support that stays with you
Progress is not one and done. You work with the same provider every step of the way, and we adjust as your labs and how you feel change over time.
Care that meets you where you are.
Come for root-cause functional medicine, or for one focused treatment. Both are medicine, done well.
Where you see a symptom, we see a place to start.
Most begin with a functional medicine evaluation, then we map the plan to what we find.
Don't see yours here? Almost any condition can start with the same root-cause approach.

Before becoming a nurse practitioner and moving into functional medicine, Catherine began her career as a registered nurse in a Veterans Affairs hospital ICU, caring for the sickest patients in acute medicine. There she saw the same story again and again: acute crises that began as chronic issues nobody had addressed. She founded Healing Advanced Solutions to catch those problems while they are still preventable, with more time, broader testing, and a plan built around the cause, with the same provider beside you.
Give the body what it needs, and it will do what it was designed to do: heal.

What is functional medicine, and how is it different from conventional care?
Functional medicine looks for why a symptom is there, not just how to manage it. We read your labs against optimal ranges instead of the average, consider your full history, and build a plan around the cause. Conventional visits are often short and focused on the symptom. We take more time, test more broadly, and stay with you as your plan changes.
Who is functional medicine for, and what can it help with?
It is for anyone who wants answers instead of another prescription to cover a symptom. We commonly help with thyroid, gut and digestion, weight and metabolism, men's and women's hormones, fatigue, autoimmune concerns, and mood, anxiety, and sleep. Almost any concern can start with the same root-cause approach.
Do you take insurance, or are you cash-pay?
We are a cash-pay practice with transparent, upfront pricing. That lets us give you real provider time instead of rushed, insurance-driven visits. We do not bill insurance or provide diagnosis codes, though we are glad to give you an itemized receipt on request. Care is HSA and FSA eligible.
What happens at your first functional medicine visit?
Your first visit is about 75 minutes with Catherine Seidle, our APRN. We go through your full history from birth to present, review comprehensive labs against optimal ranges, and start building a plan around what we find. You see the same provider at every visit, so nothing gets lost between appointments.
Does functional medicine replace my primary care doctor?
No. We work alongside your primary care provider and any other specialists you see, not instead of them. We focus on root-cause and functional care, and we are glad to coordinate with the rest of your care team.
Do I need an evaluation to get an IV or a vitamin shot?
You do not need to be a functional medicine patient, and no lab work is required. Many IV and vitamin visits are same-day or walk-in. We do ask a few baseline questions first, about your heart, your kidneys, and any allergies, so your treatment is safe for you. The full evaluation is only for root-cause care.
Where are you located, and when are you open?
