IV Therapy · Myers Cocktail

The Myers Cocktail, ingredient by ingredient.

Healing Advanced Solutions offers the Myers Cocktail IV in Jacksonville, FL for $150: B vitamins, vitamin C, magnesium, and trace minerals in one drip, administered by clinical staff.

What is in the bag, and why.

The Myers Cocktail is the oldest and best-known formula in IV therapy, named for the Baltimore physician John Myers, whose patients' drip it reconstructs. It is four ingredients in a saline base, and each one has a reason to be there.

B vitamins

The energy-metabolism cofactors

The family of vitamins your cells use to turn food into usable energy. They are in the bag because levels run down fast when appetite, absorption, or stress has been poor.

Vitamin C

The antioxidant workhorse

Your body cannot make it and uses it constantly, especially when you are fighting something off or recovering. IV delivery reaches levels a stomach full of tablets cannot.

Magnesium

The most common shortfall

A mineral involved in hundreds of reactions, including the ones your muscles and nerves run on. It is one of the most commonly depleted nutrients we see, which is why it is in the bag.

Zinc, manganese, and copper

The trace-mineral trio

Our mineral blend carries more than magnesium. Zinc supports immune function, and manganese and copper are trace minerals your antioxidant enzymes are built around. Small doses, deliberately included.

This formula has decades of clinical use and small supportive studies behind it. It is support, and whether it fits your goal is decided at your visit.

The step up

Myers Plus, our signature build.

"The kitchen sink," as we call it around the office.

Everything in the regular Myers Cocktail, plus two additions: the vitamin C dose is doubled, and glutathione, the body's primary antioxidant, joins the bag. Nothing from the classic four goes away; the formula simply goes deeper, which is why this is the upgrade patients settle into once they know the base. $180 posted, with package pricing on the IV therapy menu; packages never expire, are transferable, and unused sessions are not refundable.

What to expect

What to expect, start to finish.

30 to 45 minutes

In the chair once you are settled. Read, work, or do nothing; clinical staff check on you throughout.

$150, posted

One posted price. Packages lower the per-drip cost; the full menu is posted on the IV therapy page.

Walk-ins usually fine

Usually fine same day during office hours, heads-up preferred. Requesting an appointment holds your time.

Cadence is personal: some patients come around illness, travel, or hard training blocks, others keep a monthly rhythm. If your pattern suggests something worth testing rather than dripping, we will recommend the lab workup first.

Ask us anything
What is in a Myers Cocktail?

B vitamins, vitamin C, magnesium, and a trace-mineral blend (zinc, manganese, and copper) in a saline base. It is the oldest and best-known formula in IV therapy, named for the Baltimore physician John Myers, whose patients' formula it reconstructs.

What is a Myers Cocktail used for?

Patients most often book it for energy support, recovery after illness or exertion, and general repletion, especially when appetite or absorption has been poor. The formula has decades of clinical use behind it. It is support, and fit for your goal is decided at your visit.

How long does it take?

Plan on 30 to 45 minutes in the chair once you are settled. You can read, work, or do nothing at all, and clinical staff check on you throughout.

Is a walk-in okay, or do I need an appointment?

A walk-in is usually fine the same day during office hours, and a quick text ahead means no waiting. Requesting an appointment holds your time.

How often do people get one?

It varies with the goal. Some patients come around illness, travel, or hard training blocks; others keep a monthly rhythm. If a pattern suggests something worth testing rather than dripping, we will recommend the lab workup first.
