What is KPV?

KPV is the shortest peptide on this site: three amino acids, lysine, proline, and valine, taken from the end of alpha-melanocyte-stimulating hormone, one of the body's own brakes on inflammation. It is made in a laboratory, and it is one of the four peptides in the KLOW blend. Here it is prescribed after a free consultation and a review of your history.

KPV benefits and uses.

  • Gut inflammation

In mouse models of colitis, KPV reduced inflammation, and the gut lining takes it up through its own transporter.

  • Skin and mouth-lining inflammation

Animal studies have looked at inflammatory skin and mouth-lining conditions.

  • Calming inflammatory signaling

In human airway cells in the lab, KPV reduced the signaling that drives inflammatory responses.

  • Part of the KLOW blend

KPV joins GHK-Cu, BPC-157, and TB-500 in KLOW, a combination people use for skin, gut, and recovery.

How does KPV work?

Alpha-MSH is one of the body's own brakes on inflammation. The KPV fragment appears to act inside cells to reduce the signaling that drives inflammatory responses, and in the gut it is taken up by a transporter in the intestinal lining. Much of the animal work delivered KPV with engineered carriers designed to reach the gut lining, so the effect may depend on how it arrives.

KPV side effects and safety.

  • Side effects in people have not been measured: FDA found no human exposure data for KPV by any route in its 2026 review.
  • FDA's stated concerns are a possible immune reaction and impurities from manufacturing; every vial here comes with a certificate of analysis.

Because human data are absent, KPV is prescribed only after Catherine Seidle, APRN reviews your history, and your follow-up checks how you are responding.
